Hiking
The Barmsteine are an eye-catcher for all hikers and the Untersberg towers above the Kranzbichlhof. Many hikes in the surrounding area make the hearts of mountain and nature lovers beat faster.

Swimming around the hotel
Did you know that the Königssee is considered one of the cleanest lakes in Germany? The deep lake can be reached in a short drive from the Kranzbichlhof and makes your vacation day special.
Here you can take a plunge into the refreshing water, go for a boat ride or admire the mountain panorama of the Berchtesgadener Land while enjoying an ice cream sundae. Its location offers many ideas for activities around the mountains and is very popular with hikers and nature enthusiasts.
But there are also many other beautiful lakes and bathing places in the region...
Biking
Around the Kranzbichlhof there are a variety of options for all bike fans. The Roßfeld panoramic road is also very popular with racing cyclists and off-road fans can also cycle on the Zinken with their mountain bike.
You are welcome to store your bikes in our storage room. And if you own an e-bike, you have the possibility to charge the battery with us.
Waterfalls & gorges
A natural spectacle can be experienced during a hike through the waterfall in Golling and special experiences at the Salzachöfen.
Other gorges in the vicinity of the Hotel Kranzbichlhof are for example the Lammerklamm, the Almbachklamm or the Wimbachklamm.
Summer toboggan run
The Keltenblitz summer toboggan run is only a short walk from the hotel.
Lots of fun and adventure and a breathtaking mountain panorama await you in Bad Dürrnberg with the longest summer toboggan run in Salzburger Land. A great experience, not only for children!
Salzwelten & celts
A show mine for the whole family can be visited and experienced not far from the Kranzbichlhof.
In the Celtic village Salina, as well as in the Celtic Museum Hallein offers exciting insights into the 2500 year old history of the Celts in Bad Dürrnberg and Hallein.
